“ We've tried several pizza places in Manteca and haven't found one we truly loved...until we tried Mavericks! We tried a mini combo pizza meal and loved it, so two days later we ordered a large pepperoni and a Hawaiian pizza for the family and it was awesome! Fresh ingredients, they use good mozzarella, just the right amount of sauce and crust was delicious. So far it is the best pizza we have tried in Manteca and will order again! Delivery only available after 4pm and prices are reasonable especially compared to what is available in Manteca. Place is small but was easy to find. I don't know if this place is new because I haven't heard people mention it, but we are so glad we found it and tried! Update: we love it so much we've had it three times in last week and a half! ”

“ First time trying Maverick's Pizza. I had seen some good Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered a large specialty pizza (16 inches) half pepperoni half Mav's Hawaiian. We also ordered the rib tips with bbq sauce on the side. The pizza was very good. The pepperoni side was considerably more greasy than the Hawaiian, so it wasn't as crispy. Next time I would probably ask them to transfer the pizza a few times to get rid of the excess grease. The rib tips were very meaty and cooked well, a great deal for $7.50. They have a lot of different sides, including mozzarella sticks, meatballs, and cheesy bread. It is a very small parlor with only a few tables, so I would opt for takeout unless you are popping in by yourself for a quick meal. The girl helping the counter was very nice, and our pizza came out very quickly. I will definitely be back to try some different pizzas and sides! ”
